Displaying a creative beadwork band of reciprocal feathers across the back of the hand, these tan leather gloves are named for the Cloud Ripper Peak. Cloud Ripper is the highest peak of the Inconsolable Range, a small subrange north of the Palisades and just outside Kings Canyon National Park in the Californian Sierra Nevada.
Astis leather gloves are hand-sewn in the USA from tan high-quality suede leather with hand-stitched beadwork on the wrist and are lined with Polartec® Thermal Pro® High Loft insulation. Working directly with a tannery in the USA, we developed a suede leather, injected with silicone during the tanning process for further waterproofing, that is extremely durable yet retains great dexterity.
As each leather glove is hand-sewn and uses natural materials, each leather mitten will possess slight variation in the look of the leather and beadwork. Astis embraces these subtle differences and views them as unique gloves more akin to works of art.
