American Indian College Fund

Astis is proud to partner and support the American Indian College Fund (www.collegefund.org).

The American Indian College Fund provides financial support for Native American students and tribal colleges and universities, and also supports programs for institutional growth and sustainability and cultural preservation.  Founded in 1989, the American Indian College Fund is the nation's largest Native-run charity supporting Native student access to higher education.

“The American Indian College Fund is very proud to be working with Astis. For a small company, Astis has made a large commitment and is currently providing full-time scholarships for Native students to attend the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA). With their investment in Native students and communities Astis is empowering the next generation of Native leaders to create social and economic transformation in Indian Country.

Throughout its 32-year history, the College Fund has established itself as a leader in Native education and community revitalization, offering a broad range of programming designed to strategically address the needs of Native individuals, institutions, and communities from early childhood through meaningful employment. At the core of all College Fund programming is a commitment to honor the inherent sovereignty, diversity, and resilience of Native peoples.

In the words of College Fund scholar Jasmine, “Education is one of the most powerful tools to bettering our lives and the lives of our families and contributing positively to our community.”

We look forward to the continued growing partnerships ahead between Astis and the Native community. Thank you.”
